As an excited fan, I’m thrilled to share that Aardman Studios has officially confirmed the imminent arrival of their long-awaited Pokémon collaboration! And if that wasn’t enough, they’ve also hinted at the forthcoming launch of their Chicken Run adaptation, which is set to hit us soon!
In a partnership with the renowned British animation studio and child-oriented publishing company Outright Games, the game titled “Chicken Run: Eggstraction” offers a cooperative experience where players stealthily navigate through multiple levels in an attempt to achieve their goal of gaining independence.
According to recent announcements, Aardman Studios has revealed that the movie “Chicken Run: Eggstraction” will be released on October 24, 2025, following the success of “Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget.” Currently, a demo with six levels is accessible for players to test on Steam.
It’s no wonder that Eggstraction boasts an impressive ensemble of well-known British actors, given Chicken Run’s status as a beloved British classic.
In the main roles, we find Bella Ramsey who recently worked on The Last of Us Season 2. She’s accompanied by stars such as Amelia Dimoldenberg, Romesh Ranganathan, Josie Sedgwick-Davies, along with others.
The narrative of the game is penned by Laurence Rickard, who gained significant recognition for his work in popular British media like Horrible Histories and Ghosts.
In reference to the upcoming launch of this game, Aardman’s managing director, Sean Clarke, stated: “It’s been a fantastic chance to broaden the Chicken Run universe. Working with Outright Games, we are unveiling an experience that captures the essence and humor of the original Chicken Run movie, while also inviting new admirers to join our feathered family.
