Rebecca Romijn shared with Comic Book Resources that the team is nearly wrapping up filming for Season 4, indicating that the next-to-last episode in the series might be released around mid-2026.
Based on historical patterns, it’s typically a year from when Star Trek: Strange New Worlds production wraps up until its new season airs on television. For example, filming for the third season ended in May 2024, and eventually, we saw that season debut on our screens in July 2025.
Romijn’s latest update on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds aligns with the recent report from series director Jordan Canning. On July 7, Jordan shared via Instagram that they had completed half of the filming for the fifth episode of Season 4.
According to Canning’s recent update, it appears that the fourth season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is getting close to completion, with a total of 10 episodes planned. This could indicate that we might be seeing its release sometime in the summer or fall.

Although there’s been good news about the upcoming last two seasons of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, no official launch date has been announced as of now.
