This year, a new Star Wars movie featuring Din Djarin and Grogu will arrive in theaters. The film will continue the stories from both The Mandalorian season 3 and the Ahsoka series, and will likely tie into the upcoming second season of Ahsoka. Beyond the movie, fans will also be able to experience more Mandalorian adventures through a new video game that adapts season 3 of the show and, for the first time, lets players control Grogu.
The latest installment in the Star Wars universe is The Mandalorian: Adventures – Sworn to the Creed, the second expansion pack for the popular game from Unexpected Games. This new expansion moves the story forward to season 3 and introduces four new characters and missions. A particularly exciting feature is the ability to play as Grogu for the first time ever! While other games have let you control both Mando and Grogu, this time you can play as Grogu on his own, and he’s just one of the welcome additions to the game.
The Mandalorian: Adventures – Sworn to the Creed Brings More Fan Favorites To The Roster

I’m so excited they added Grogu as a playable character, but it’s not just him! The new Sworn to the Creed set also includes Koska Reeves, played by Mercedes Mone (who I also watch in AEW!), and The Armorer and Axe Wolves. When you add them to Mando and Bo-Katan from earlier sets, you can basically build the whole main cast of the show now, which is awesome!

This new expansion isn’t just about new characters – it also introduces some fresh gameplay mechanics. A key addition is the ability to switch between two versions of certain characters, like Grogu and The Armorer. Depending on what happens in the game, you’ll need to flip their cards to the red side. To use their abilities again, you’ll have to trigger an effect that flips the card back to its blue side.
A new “High Alert” token is introduced through certain cards. When applied to an enemy, it changes their class to all three types, causing them to attack much more often. Additionally, a new “Planning Card” with the “Exert” ability lets you discard it to add +2 strength to an action, and you can even increase that boost up to +6.
This expansion adds new gear, challenging threats during Gambit, and new enemy abilities like Heavy Armor, Immobile, and Guardian. You can combine all of this with characters and content from the original game and the Clan of Two expansion, allowing for a massive and expansive campaign if you want to experience it all.

If you haven’t played The Mandalorian: Adventures before, it’s a game where 1 to 4 players team up to recreate iconic scenes from the show. You’ll work together using miniatures and a special card system that focuses on strategy and cooperation.
The new expansion, Sworn to the Creed, adds even more characters and gameplay options to the game. Its flexible system lets you customize your experience however you like! You can find the complete rulebook here.
The Mandalorian: Adventures – Sworn to the Creed is an expansion pack, meaning you’ll need the original game to play it. It will be available on July 31, 2026.
