Announcements of announcements? Are we still doing those?
Okay, so it’s official! The Dragon Ball video game team just announced on X (formerly Twitter) that they’re revealing a brand new game in January. I’m super hyped!
It will be showcased at the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri, a live event happening at the Makuhari Messe in Japan on January 25th, 2026.
The new game will feature as part of a stage show, with the panel expected at 11AM local time.
Just so you know, this might not end up being a PlayStation 5 game. It could appear on other consoles, or even on phones and tablets.
Now that it’s been a year since Dragon Ball Sparking Zero came out, it’s possible Bandai Namco is working on a new game for consoles.
What Dragon Ball game would you like to see made next? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
