The free PC game was created by Ink Stain Games and published by HypeTrain Digital in 2015. Ink Stain Games has only released two games on Steam: this one, and Stoneshard, which came out in 2020. The game is called 12 is Better Than 6 for those unfamiliar with it.

12 Is Better Than 6 is an action-packed western shooter where you play as an escaped slave in 1873. Your goal is to travel from Mexico to Texas, and you’ll rely on a stolen revolver and sombrero to survive, using both direct combat and stealth.
But is it actually good? Looking at Steam reviews, it generally is – it has over 1,000 reviews with a 74% positive rating. Surprisingly, making the game free hasn’t improved those numbers.
