So, I just saw that Shift Up dropped another free update for Stellar Blade today, both on PS5 and PC! It looks like they’re really committed to this game, which is awesome. This time around, they’ve expanded one of the endings with a bunch of short little scenes showing what happens afterward. It’s cool to see them adding more to the story even after release – definitely worth checking out if you finished the game and want to see a bit more! You can find more details here.
The video clips aren’t particularly significant; they’re mostly funny and show short scenes taking place in and around the town of Xion. The update is available for download now on PS5 and PC. You can view the additional scenes above.
While the studio is still refining Stellar Blade, they’re already developing a sequel, expected to launch within the next few years. They originally mentioned a 2027 release, but that date isn’t set in stone. “A 2027 launch would be ideal, but with only three years to go, we can only promise we’ll do our best,” stated Shift Up CEO Kim Hyung-hyung. “However, I can guarantee it will be a fantastic game.”
