Universal Pictures’ One Night Only has expanded its cast, with Maya Hawke among the new additions.
Joining the cast alongside Maya Hawke, famous for her role as Robin Buckley in the popular Netflix series Stranger Things, are several new faces. These include Julia Fox, known for her work in Uncut Gems, musician King Princess (who appeared in Nine Perfect Strangers), Ziwe (from Succession), and Este Haim, who starred in Licorice Pizza, as reported by Deadline.
Although we don’t yet know exactly who will play which characters, the publication reports that they’ve all been cast in supporting roles.
Monica Barbaro (known for her role in ‘A Complete Unknown’), Molly Ringwald (‘Riverdale’), LeVar Burton (‘Picard’), and Callum Turner (who was considered for James Bond in ‘The Capture’) are already part of the cast, and more actors have now joined them.
The movie, directed by Will Gluck, is based on a script by Travis Braun. It tells the story of two strangers who try to find a partner for a single night when a law temporarily allows sex before marriage.

Ugh, I’m getting a message saying I can’t see this because of Google’s reCAPTCHA thing. Apparently, I need to sign out of Contentpass first to get it to work. Hopefully, that fixes it so I can finally see what I came here for!
We don’t yet know many specifics about Gluck’s adaptation, and it’s uncertain if it will follow the story of the original closely.
Jacqueline Monetta, VP at Olive Bridge Entertainment, will oversee and produce with Gluck.
