Stranger Things star feared final season would be “torn to shreds” like Game of Thrones

As Stranger Things heads into its fifth and final season, star Finn Wolfhard has openly shared his anxieties about how the show will conclude.

Shows like Lost and Game of Thrones have proven that a TV series’ final episode significantly impacts how people remember the entire show, either positively or negatively.

Finn Wolfhard, known for his role as Mike Wheeler in the popular Netflix series, said he believes everyone involved was quite anxious about the show’s success.

He admitted that the negative reaction to the final season of *Game of Thrones* was on everyone’s minds as they started working on this new project. However, once they read the scripts, they realized they had something truly exceptional on their hands and felt confident it wouldn’t suffer the same fate.

I’ve been hearing the creators, the Duffer Brothers, are really worried about how to end *Stranger Things*. It’s been on TV for almost ten years by the time the last season comes out, and apparently, they’ve been really hurt by the endings of other shows they loved, so they’re determined to get this right. Shawn Levy, one of the executive producers, even told Variety they’ve had their ‘hearts broken’ by disappointing finales, and they don’t want to do that to their fans.

They’ve confirmed they’re finishing up all storylines, ensuring they cover everything they intended with the Demogorgon, Mind Flayer, Vecna, the Upside Down, Hawkins, and the characters. They stated this is a complete and final story.

The last season of Stranger Things will be released in three parts during November and December. The creators, the Duffer Brothers, have also revealed that the episodes will be quite long.

Finally, viewers will learn the truth about one of the show’s biggest mysteries: what exactly *is* the Upside Down?

All will be revealed when Stranger Things returns to screens this winter. Buckle in!
