In a brand-new set photograph, Cody Rhodes was unveiled as Guile in the upcoming Street Fighter movie for the first time, showcasing the signature aspect of the character’s distinctive appearance.
As a movie enthusiast, I’m excited to share some behind-the-scenes insight! Andrew Schulz, portraying Dan Hibiki in our upcoming film, recently posted a picture featuring Guile’s silhouette, which is actually played by Rhodes. Although Rhodes himself isn’t visible in the photo, Guile’s legendary haircut stands out distinctly within his figure’s outline.

Who else is in Street Fighter’s cast?
As a die-hard cinema enthusiast, I’m absolutely thrilled about the upcoming Street Fighter movie! I can’t wait to see the powerhouse cast that brings this iconic video game to life on the big screen. I’ll be cheering for Andrew Koji as Ryu, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Noah Centineo as Ken, and Jason Momoa in his transformed role as Blanka. Roman Reigns will undoubtedly impress as Akuma, while Orville Peck dons the mask to portray Vega. The hilarious Andrew Schulz takes on Dan Hibiki, and none other than Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson steps into the ring as Balrog.
And there’s more! Rumors have it that the talented New Japan Pro-Wrestler, Hirooki Goto, will embody E. Honda, while Indian action star Vidyut Jammwal brings Dhalsim to life. This cast is shaping up to deliver an epic Street Fighter experience that we’ve all been waiting for!
The filming for this project is set to start in Australia in August. As of now, specific plot details are still confidential. Legendary Entertainment, along with Capcom, are jointly developing and producing the movie.
A release date for the Street Fighter movie has not yet been set.
