A special steelbook case, featuring artwork from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, will be available as part of the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 physical release.
Konami announced the news with a playful social media post showing Old Snake discovering the steelbook, complete with the familiar item pick-up screen. They captioned it, “Good pickup, Snake. We’ll take a closer look and share more details in a few hours.”
The video confirms the steelbook is a pre-order bonus available at “select retailers”.
Just a heads-up: Master Collection Vol. 2 comes out on PlayStation 5 on August 27, 2026. Here’s what’s included:
