Neva, a highly praised indie game for PlayStation 5 and 4 released in 2024, will get a free Prologue DLC next week, as announced during the recent State of Play presentation.
The new expansion will be available on February 19, 2026, for only $2.99. Although the story takes place years before the main game, it’s best experienced after completing it. You’ll play as Alba, who follows a path of white butterflies into dangerous swamps. There, she finds a lost and scared wolf cub and is determined to help it. The game focuses on Alba earning the wolf’s trust and guiding it through a damaged and wild landscape.
As a fan, I’m really excited about this add-on! It adds three brand new areas to explore, and they’re packed with fresh things to do – new ways to play, tough bosses, different enemies, and plenty of challenges to test my skills.
Enjoyed the Neva gameplay reveal at State of Play? The original game is currently half price at just £7.99 / $9.99 until February 25th, 2026. Our review of Neva on PS5 gave it a 9/10, praising it as a beautiful, moving story about loss, love, and life – and a fantastic follow-up to GRIS.
