The action RPG Styx: Blades of Greed is coming next month, and you can pre-order it now! PC players can also try a free demo – and any progress you make will be saved in the full game.
The game starts with two challenging missions. First, you’ll learn the ropes by taking apart a massive golem from the inside. Then, you’ll experience a mission shown in recent gameplay – infiltrating The Wall. Cyanide Studio says this is just a preview, but it aims to give players a good feel for the game’s freedom and overall atmosphere.
The main story takes about an hour to complete, but you can easily spend much longer exploring everything the game offers. The game features three large areas to discover, including Turquoise Dawn, which is home to dangerous Orcs, and the Ruins of Akenash – a familiar location from Master of Shadows that’s now in a deteriorated state.
The standard version of the game costs $49.99 and comes with the Master of Shadows skin if you pre-order. For $59.99, you can buy the Quartz Edition, which includes a Starter Pack with extra items like talent points, taunts, crafting materials, two unique skins, and lets you start playing two days earlier.
Styx: Blades of Greed launches on February 19th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
