Super Meat Boy 3D adds Switch 2 version

Super Meat Boy 3D, a challenging 3D platformer, is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, alongside releases for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Publisher Headup and developer Sluggerfly also confirmed the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass.

I was so hyped to hear that Steve Marcois from Despised Icon is going to be working on the game’s music! That’s awesome – his work with that band is incredible, so I’m really excited to see what he brings to the soundtrack.

Steve Marcois, a lifelong gamer, expressed his excitement about contributing to the soundtrack of Super Meat Boy 3D. In a press release, he said the project, which began two years ago, was challenging but ultimately rewarding. He’s proud they were able to capture the game’s emotional story in the music and hopes players will enjoy both the song and the game as much as he does.

Here is an overview of the game, via Team Meat:
