Kemuri, a brand new action game where you fight demons, is set to release on PlayStation 5 in 2027. It’s being developed by Unseen, a new game studio led by Ikumi Nakamura.
You might know Nakamura from her work at Tango Gameworks, where she contributed to both The Evil Within games and Ghostwire: Tokyo.
Kemuri shares similarities with other open-world urban games, offering a stylish experience and over-the-top combat. It also lets up to three players team up for cooperative gameplay.
I’m excited to see more of this game. The trailer is interesting, but it’s hard to get a clear idea of how the gameplay works and what the battles will be like.
The eventual gameplay deep dive should be fun.
