Before the game comes out next week on October 2nd, the developers at Sucker Punch have released a significant portion of the Ghost of Yotei soundtrack on popular music streaming services.
We know many players will want to discover the music while playing the game, and that’s great! But it’s also perfectly fine if you’d like a sneak peek beforehand.
The game’s soundtrack features 22 original songs by Tomo Otowa, a composer known for his work on various games and films.
This album is a wonderful collection of songs that really set the mood. While it heavily features traditional Japanese instruments, the music is crafted to sound like a classic Western soundtrack.
Because Ghost of Yotei is set in a wild, lawless land, its themes really fit the story. This is especially true when you consider Atsu’s single-minded pursuit of revenge.
Are you planning to check out the “Ghost of Yotei” soundtrack before the game comes out, or will you wait to listen while playing? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
