Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition coming to Switch 2 on May 21 in Japan, May 22 worldwide

Bandai Namco announced that Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition will be available on the Switch 2 starting May 21st in Japan and May 22nd everywhere else.

Tales of Arise was originally released on September 10, 2021, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The expansion, “Beyond the Dawn,” along with a special edition of the game, launched on November 9, 2023.

In Tales of Arise, you’ll experience the journey of Alphen and Shionne as they team up to liberate the planet Dahna from a 300-year reign of tyranny by Rena. The game starts with these two characters, from different backgrounds, both striving for a better future. With a rich cast of characters and a compelling narrative, players will discover expansive landscapes, engage in exciting, fast-paced battles, and reveal the secrets connecting their worlds.

The “Beyond the Dawn” expansion picks up Alphen and Shionne’s story a year after the original game, offering over 20 hours of new gameplay. Explore fresh locations and meet new characters as you discover what happens next in the ongoing conflict between the Renans and Dahnans. It continues the journey of the six heroes and their fates.
