Story
The remote island of Kameshima sits nestled in Ise bay.
Yuza Minakuchi is a young man who dives for pearls with his close friend, Azami Kumoi. Their peaceful life on the island is disrupted when Yuza has a strange encounter underwater – he meets another version of himself. Soon after, a series of unfortunate events begin to plague the island.
Three women – a girl with a hidden past, a treasure hunter from another country, and a curious housewife – find their lives unexpectedly linked by a decades-old mystery. They begin to unravel the truth behind the Mermaids of Ise, a legendary tale lost to time.
