A Taskmaster final is never without an exciting announcement afterwards!
Viewers watched the exciting finale of season twenty tonight, November 13th, to see which comedian would win and move on to compete in the next Champion of Champions event.
And there’s more! Taskmaster has announced five new celebrities who will compete in its New Year Treat, a special two-part episode airing during the holidays – a first for the show.
This year’s show features a fantastic lineup of celebrities, including TV chef Big Zuu (known for Big Zuu’s Big Eats and Celebrity Bear Hunt), former footballer Jill Scott (from I’m a Celebrity), actress Rose Ayling-Ellis (who starred in Code of Silence and EastEnders), musician Sam Ryder (who represented the UK at Eurovision), and lexicographer Susie Dent (famous from Countdown).

Greg Davies will once again judge the contestants’ performances, while Alex Horne carefully manages everything that happens.
Only one of the five celebrity contestants will be crowned champion and win Greg Davies’s famous Golden Eyebrows trophy.
Plus, we’re excited to announce another Champion of Champions special is coming soon! It will feature returning favorites Sam Campbell, John Robins, Andy Zaltzman, Mathew Baynton, and the winner from season 20 – but we won’t reveal who that is just yet for those who haven’t finished watching!
We’ll share details about when and where to watch Taskmaster’s New Year Treat and Taskmaster Champion of Champions 4 soon. The new season of Taskmaster, season 21, will premiere in 2026.
Taskmaster’s New Year Treat is coming soon to Channel 4.
