Taylor Swift and Fiancé Travis Kelce Step Out For 2nd NYC Date Night

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are turning the New York City sky opalite.

The newly engaged couple enjoyed another night out in New York City on November 6th, having dinner at Zero Bond, a private club and one of Taylor’s go-to places.

Taylor styled her hair up and wore a sleek black outfit for the evening, including a black skirt and sweater, lace tights, and thigh-high leather boots. Her partner, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, chose a more casual look with an orange suede jumpsuit, a black t-shirt, and combat boots.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, who got engaged in August, are enjoying some downtime during Travis’ break from football. They were recently spotted on a date at The Polo Bar on November 5th, and again for a more casual meal at the Ralph Lauren restaurant. Both Taylor and Travis dressed down for the occasion, with Taylor wearing gray pants and a blue sweater, and Travis opting for a similar blue sweater.

It’s no surprise Taylor Swift brought her boyfriend to Zero Bond, as she was recently spotted there with her friend Gigi Hadid earlier this week. Despite the attention she receives, the singer has said she won’t let her fame change who she is or stop her from enjoying life.

In a 2023 interview with Time magazine, she explained that she’s realized life is too short to worry about unimportant things. She acknowledged that going out in public can sometimes cause a commotion, but she still wants to enjoy time with her friends, like having dinner with them.

I’ve noticed Travis is really taking a page from Kacey Musgraves’ book – he’s learning to block out distractions and focus on what truly matters, just like she does. It’s inspiring to see them both prioritizing peace of mind.

During a press conference last January, Travis explained that their happiness is the only thing that truly matters, and they don’t pay attention to outside criticism or negativity. He said, “As long as we’re happy, we can’t listen to anything that’s outside noise.”

This couple is being completely open and honest about their wedding plans. Here’s everything they’ve shared so far…

It’s hard to imagine Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce having a wedding on just any day – it would definitely be on a date that’s significant to them, or at least to Taylor.

Taylor Swift, a known lover of the number 13 and patterns, shared her enthusiasm for numerology and dates during a recent two-hour appearance on her fiancé Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights. This episode aired on August 13th, just 13 days before they publicly announced their engagement. However, Travis’s father revealed the couple had actually told close friends and family about their relationship three days earlier. Swift described finding this type of pattern-seeking ‘really fun.’

Travis is turning 36 on October 5th, and his plans for the NFL after his current contract ends in 2025 will influence when he and his partner get married. If he continues playing football, their wedding will take place during the off-season, sometime between February after the Super Bowl and the start of training camp in July.

If Travis retires after his 13th season—which feels strange to think about—he’ll be available to get married in October, Taylor’s favorite month. The exact timing will depend on when Taylor announces a tour for her new album, The Life of a Showgirl. Her 12th studio album comes out October 3rd, and she typically reveals tour dates about a month after releasing a new album (not a re-recorded one).

Taylor Swift is famous for her close-knit group of friends, but she revealed in October 2025 that she hasn’t thought about planning a bachelorette party yet.

She confessed on Heart radio that, surprisingly, she’d never dreamed about her wedding growing up. She hadn’t given any thought to what she wanted for her big day until she met the person she wanted to marry.

I hadn’t really given any thought to having a hen do – it’s only just crossed my mind, actually.

Plus, she added of her gal pals, “They’re so fun but they’re so busy.”

When Taylor picks out a white dress, it’s going to be one to remember.

Ignoring the cost of her clothes and jewelry, the singer’s style is effortlessly chic and approachable. She favors timeless pieces with a modern edge, often choosing designs from established brands like Oscar de la Renta, Elie Saab, Louis Vuitton, Zuhair Murad, and J. Mendel – all designers she’s worn for years.

After the ceremony, where she’ll wear a beautiful gown to say her vows, the tall bride—she’s 5-foot-10—plans to change into a more comfortable dress so she can dance all night.

We’re excited to see how she incorporates the traditional wedding elements – something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue – into her look.

Travis is also into fashion, so he’s excited to choose a wedding suit that really reflects his style – he’s planning to have fun with it!

He proposed wearing shorts – it was a hot August day in Kansas, after all – and people online jokingly challenged him to wear them with his suit at the wedding. However, he probably wants to keep the focus on his partner, who will be wearing a beautiful dress, and avoid making too much of a statement himself.

Although, if showing off his knees was important to him…

As a little insight into what I look for in a relationship, I once told Cosmopolitan back in 2012 that I really want my partner to feel like their presence truly matters. I made it a point to say I definitely hadn’t even started planning their wedding outfit – no tuxedos pre-selected! It’s so important to me that they know they’re valued and that their participation isn’t just assumed.

Taylor and Travis both deeply value family, so their parents and brothers are naturally key people in the wedding. Jason Kelce, likely to be Travis’s best man, has two young daughters, Wyatt and Elliotte, who will probably be flower girls. Depending on the wedding date, his younger daughter, Bennett, might also get to participate. Their newest baby, Finnley, will likely be too young to join the fun, though!

It will be interesting to see which of Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammates are invited, but he was a groomsman at Patrick Mahomes’ wedding in 2022, so we know at least one teammate will be there. Plus, he’s been friends with a close group of guys since high school, so his bachelor party—filled with golf and drinks—is going to be a lot of fun.

Taylor Swift’s childhood friend, Abigail Anderson, continues to be a constant presence in her life. Selena Gomez remains a close friend, often exchanging gifts, as do Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, despite recent rumors about a possible falling out related to Lively’s legal issues.

Also, Taylor is already a godmother to Blake and Ryan’s daughters, so she’s definitely a possibility for a flower girl role.

On the September 17th episode of New Heights, Travis shared his preference for live music, saying, “I think we’re just a live music kind of group.”

Ugh, we knew it, we’re so on the same page.

Honestly, even if she doesn’t sing, it’s totally fine because she’s surrounded by incredibly talented friends who can definitely carry a tune! I’m especially hoping for Haim to show up and absolutely kill it – seriously, please let Haim perform! I’m already picturing it and getting chills!

But Taylor joked it “would be hard to keep” Ed Sheeran from performing at her wedding.

She explained that Ed Sheeran feels compelled to perform whenever there’s a stage available. During an interview with Hits Radio in October 2025, she said he has a strong understanding of his audience and always aims to deliver what they enjoy.

Taylor may love Travis so much she’d marry him with paper rings, but that won’t be the case.

If Travis continues to play sports, he might wear a flexible wedding band, but otherwise, he’s settled on the Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond ring he chose for his fiancée, created by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.

The ring has a long, central diamond with smaller diamonds on either side, all set in yellow gold that’s been specially engraved. It perfectly complements the $27,300 Cartier watch he used when he proposed.

Just how massive will this white veil occasion be?

Comedian Nikki Glaser, who is a big Taylor Swift fan, believes a large wedding is coming. She told TopMob News at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, “Everything has been building up to this moment.”

The comedian pointed out that because Taylor Swift is constantly in the spotlight – essentially treated like a bride every day – her wedding will probably be kept very private.

Nikki said she knows the person just wants to share the happy occasion with everyone they care about, as they have a large circle of friends and family. She jokingly predicted that someone will likely try to disrupt the celebration by taking unwanted photos from a helicopter overhead.

As soon as the wedding is over and the couple drives away, Taylor will definitely start sharing photos and videos from her wedding with her fans.
