Taylor Swift has announced when her 12th album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” will be out, sharing its cover art and a list of songs too.
On Wednesday, the 13th of August, the renowned global celebrity shared their major announcement across various social media platforms as well as during an episode of their boyfriend Travis Kelce’s podcast titled “New Heights.
While chatting with Kelce, along with his brother and co-host Jason, Swift shared that her latest album drew inspiration from her experiences during her worldwide Eras Tour. Additionally, she mentioned that the record includes a duet with another popular pop artist, Sabrina Carpenter.
She explained that this album reflects the personal experiences and emotions she went through privately while on an energetic, colorful, and electrifying tour.
She added: “I’m incredibly proud of it because it emerged from a time in my life filled with infectious joy, wildness, and drama. That enthusiasm is evident in the record, making it lively and energetic, just like the ‘bangers’ you mentioned.
During the podcast, Swift clarified that followers shouldn’t anticipate an immediate second album following the release of The Tortured Poets Department, which unexpectedly debuted as a surprise double album.
