A notable actor from the series Teen Titans GO! allegedly announced their unexpected dismissal by Warner Bros., following their public disclosure of a Parkinson’s Disease diagnosis. The animated series, Teen Titans, has been one of Warner Bros.’ most successful ventures in animation, with its initial release in 2003 garnering significant fan support. The success continued with the debut of the reboot, Teen Titans GO!, which has spanned over 400 episodes (and a movie) for more than a decade. Namely, Ciples was not fired from the series, but was dismissed because his acting skills as Beast Boy didn’t meet the producers’ required level of performance.

According to The Wrap’s reports, it was initially suggested by Warner Bros. that Cipes take on a different role due to performance issues. They proposed creating a new character for him and were in discussions with his agent about a development deal to continue working together in the franchise. The source also mentions that while negotiations for this development deal are ongoing, Cipes has already recorded some scripts featuring this new character.
