Drama is back in session.
Okay, so I just saw the trailer for season three of Tell Me Lies, and things are heating up – and not in a good way. Lucy and Stephen are back together, despite everyone around them clearly seeing this is a terrible idea. It looks like their complicated, toxic relationship is definitely still the center of everything, and honestly, it’s a bit of a mess! Get ready for more drama, because their friends are not happy about it.
Their relationship is strained because Stephen found out his girlfriend had a past encounter with Evan (Branden Cook), and he’s trying to come to terms with it.
Oh my gosh, you guys, he said it was really hard, truly rough, but he’s determined to move past whatever it is! I literally melted when I heard him say he has to try. It’s just… everything about him is so inspiring, even when he’s hurting. I’m dying to know what ‘it’ is, but I’m so proud he’s trying to get through it!
Lucy is also struggling with personal issues. In a trailer, she was shown tearfully apologizing, saying she needed to express her remorse to everyone.
The show also explores other complicated relationships. Lucy’s friend, Bree (Cat Missal), confessed she still has feelings for her former, married professor, Oliver (Tom Ellis), even after it was revealed in season two that his wife, Marianne (Gabriella Pession), knew about their affair.
“If last semester wasn’t rock bottom,” Bree quipped, “I’m gonna be so pissed.”
The dramatic scenes will likely satisfy viewers of the show, especially since Emma Roberts is one of its executive producers. Grace had previously hinted at a wild new season, telling TopMob News in August that it felt like “the worst choices these young characters have ever made” were coming to a head.
Despite the dramatic and negative relationships shown on the show, Grace and Jackson, both 29, have a healthy and happy relationship in real life. They publicly confirmed they were dating in October 2022.

Thankfully, we’re pretty much the opposite of the characters we play,” she told TopMob recently. “That’s what makes those scenes so enjoyable – it’s fun to be over-the-top and play villains because it’s so different from who we are and how we relate to each other in real life.
Oh my gosh, you won’t believe this! Apparently, one of the Nine Perfect Strangers actors actually said that playing opposite their partner helped them so much! They found the difference between their characters and how they are in real life really useful while they were filming. It’s just… amazing to think about how they brought all that to the set!
She shared that acting is enjoyable, but it’s especially great when you can do it with someone you deeply trust, making the experience both exciting and comfortable.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m fascinated by people seeking meaningful change, and TLC’s new series is truly captivating. It follows six individuals from our modern world – what the Amish call the ‘English’ – as they step into the heart of an Amish community in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Each person is seriously considering leaving their current life behind and becoming Amish, and the show documents their journey as they adapt to a radically different way of living – one built on faith, discipline, simplicity, and a strong sense of community.
