Teyana Taylor, Connor Storrie & More Best Dressed Stars at the Globes

The Golden Globes has fierce competition for the biggest award of the evening.

Okay, everyone’s talking about who’s going to win an Oscar, right? Best Picture, Best Actor… totally important! But honestly? The real competition is Best Dressed, and let me tell you, the stars are already KILLING it! I’m glued to the pictures coming from outside the Beverly Hilton – they’re bringing their absolute boldest looks yet, and I’m living for it! It’s a fashion moment, people!

Laufey arrived at the red carpet event in a stunning custom orange Balenciaga gown, a possible reference to the Best Picture–Musical or Comedy nominee, Marty Supreme. Connor Storrie, star of Heated Rivalry and a presenter at the event, and Teyana Taylor of One Battle After Another also turned heads in Saint Laurent and a custom Schiaparelli outfit, respectively.

Everyone looked on as Hailee Steinfeld stepped onto the red carpet for the first time since announcing she’s expecting a baby with her husband, Josh Allen. The actress, known for her role in ‘Sinners,’ wore a beautiful light pink dress with silver accents that showed off her growing belly.

But the excitement really begins when the most stylish guests arrive. Tonight, we’re celebrating the year’s biggest hits, from the critically acclaimed film One Battle After Another – leading with nine nominations – to the popular Wicked: For Good, as well as favorite TV shows like Hacks and The White Lotus, and the incredibly popular Netflix series Adolescence.

The Golden Globes celebrates the year’s top actors and movies, and it’s also famous for creating some of the most memorable fashion moments ever seen on the red carpet.

Oh my gosh, I almost died last year when Zendaya showed up wearing this massive ring! It was on that finger, you know the one, with this stunning old Hollywood Louis Vuitton dress. Everyone went crazy, and honestly, I knew something big was happening! Turns out, I was right – she and Tom Holland were engaged just days later! I seriously couldn’t have been happier for them!

Julia Roberts recently reminisced about the simple, off-the-rack Armani suit she wore to the 1990 awards ceremony – a look that’s become one of her most iconic red carpet outfits.

In a January 2024 interview with British Vogue, she reminisced about this outfit as a personal favorite. She did her own hair, her girlfriend did her makeup, and she found the suit at an Armani store in Beverly Hills. She shopped in the men’s section and had the suit tailored to fit her perfectly by an in-store tailor.

But Julia didn’t think it would become so recognizable outside of her own memory.

Honestly, I just felt amazing in that outfit, you know? I was totally feeling myself! I had no idea it would become, like, the outfit, the one everyone would talk about. I just thought I looked good, and that was enough for me at the time, but wow… it’s become a whole thing now!
