The Bachelor Alum Mara Agrait Engaged to Joel Sanger

Mara Agrait just received her final rose.

I’m so thrilled to share some amazing news! Joel Sanger and I are engaged! He proposed during our incredibly romantic trip to Greece, and it was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t be happier!

Mara shared on Instagram on October 2nd that the moment her partner proposed in a stunning location was the happiest of her life. She expressed that choosing each other was the best decision they’d ever made and she’s incredibly excited for their future together.

She went on, saying she was excited to build a life and a family with him. She told him he was truly special and that she felt lucky and proud to be with him—her future husband. She admitted she loved the sound of that last part.

When she announced the news, the reality TV star also shared details of the proposal – her partner proposed to her while they were by the Mediterranean Sea.

The *Bachelor in Paradise* star wasn’t just smiling brightly that night – they also received a stunning engagement ring. The ring was a three-row eternity band with a sparkling border of smaller stones surrounding the larger ones, and it was presented by the co-founder of the Tempted Dirty Shirley drink company.

Mara, age 36, shared photos from her and Joel’s trip to Mykonos, including a fun Instagram post on September 25th showcasing their travel outfits, along with pictures of the food they enjoyed and the activities they did.

Mara and Sarah Hamrick were both contestants on Clayton Echard’s season of *The Bachelor*. Although neither of them ended up with Clayton, Mara recently discussed how being on the show impacted her.

Mara shared on Instagram in November 2022 that it’s perfectly normal when things don’t go according to plan. She explained that life is unpredictable, with both good times and bad. Every experience, she believes, either challenges you or teaches you something valuable. It’s okay to fail—the important thing is to learn from it and keep trying, adapting your approach as you go.

She explained that ending her time on *The Bachelor* and leaving *Bachelor in Paradise* after just five weeks actually helped her figure out what she was looking for in a future relationship.

She said she wouldn’t settle for less, explaining that finding real love – the kind of deep connection everyone hopes for – makes all the effort and waiting worthwhile.

As we experience life, we discover what truly makes us happy, what motivates us, and what causes our emotional reactions. Understand and appreciate yourself enough to find someone who will love, respect, and cherish you as you deserve.

Status: Engaged

Spencer Conley, who made a good impression on Jenn Tran with his friendly personality during *The Bachelorette*, found a connection on season 10 of *Bachelor in Paradise*. In August 2025, he shared a post with Jess Edwards (who previously tried to win over Joey Graziadei on *The Bachelor*) hinting that they were falling for each other – a common way to say they’re not quite ready to say “I love you” – and jokingly declared he’d “already won.”

Jess echoed the sentiment, posting online about how happy she was with her partner. The couple chose love over a $250,000 prize, getting engaged and then receiving a surprise gift of $190,000. Jess shared that everything they had experienced together brought them to this special moment. She’s now planning to move to Dallas to be with her fiancĂ©, Spencer.

Status: Dating

Bailey Taylor Brown shared on Instagram in August 2025 that her date with Jeremy Simon was the best first date she’d ever had, following their time on season 10 of *Paradise*. But could it also be their last? Bailey, who originally competed for Grant Ellis’s affection, and Jeremy, who almost won the heart of *The Bachelorette*’s Jenn, managed to overcome a major disagreement when Bailey discovered Jeremy had hesitated about sending Susie Evans home.

Despite the drama, their connection grew stronger in Costa Rica. Though they didn’t make it to the final rose ceremony on *Bachelor in Paradise*, they continued dating after the show. The show later revealed they’ve already met each other’s families and are planning to live in the same city.

Status: Dating

It looks like things are still going strong between *Paradise* season 10 contestants Andrew Spencer (who competed for Katie Thurston’s heart) and Alexe Godin (from Grant’s season). Just six days after Andrew called Alexe “my love” on Instagram in August 2025, she reciprocated, calling him “my darling” in a post of her own.

Although they chose a relationship over the $250,000 prize on the *BiP* finale, they still each received $125,000.

Oh my gosh, I can’t even believe it! Alexe actually said it – she’s leaving with money, but more importantly, with LOVE! It’s everything to her, and I’m seriously tearing up. And the best part? They’re MOVING to Chicago! Alexe and Andrew, together, in the Windy City! I’m so happy for them, it’s like a dream come true!

Status: Dating

Kat and Dale faced a difficult situation during the *Bachelor in Paradise* finale when Sean McLaughlin claimed Kat had been secretly communicating with an ex-boyfriend through letters and a laptop. Kat, however, denied contacting him while on the show. She explained that she and her ex had still been in contact before coming on the show, as she hadn’t expected to find a new relationship.

Although Kat and Dale didn’t make it to the final rose ceremony, their relationship continued to grow. After the show, they traveled the U.S. together and started making plans for the future, including potentially moving closer to each other. Kat was originally on Zach Shallcross’ season of *The Bachelor*, and Dale was a contestant on Clare Crawley’s season.

Dale wrote under Kat’s August 2025 Instagram post that things were difficult at times, but they got through it together, and he wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.

Status: Just friends—for now

After leaving season 10 of *Bachelor in Paradise*, Gary Levingston and Leslie Fhima (who was a finalist on *Golden Bachelor*) seemed optimistic about their future together, even posting about creating new memories. However, Leslie, who once inspired musician Prince, isn’t certain she wants a romantic relationship with Gary.

She shared that she and Gary talk constantly. Appearing on *Bachelor Happy Hour* in August 2025, she described him as one of her closest friends – someone she can always rely on for support and advice. They’re always there for each other and have each other’s backs.

Even though they live far apart – she’s in Minnesota and he’s in California – she’s still optimistic about their connection. She explained that, for her, the foundation of any good relationship, especially a romantic one, is friendship. She wants to build a relationship where she and her partner can grow old together as best friends.

Status: Just friends

Kim Buike, a prominent contestant from *Golden Bachelorette*, connected with Faith Martin, who received the first impression rose from Gerry Turner. Although they didn’t find lasting love on season 10 of *Paradise*, they continued dating afterward. Faith shared on Instagram in August 2025 that she and Kim had a hometown date in Washington. Ultimately, they decided they were better suited as friends. In a September 2025 Instagram video, Faith explained they talk a few times a week despite living far apart, but confirmed they never fell in love, despite having a strong connection on the show.

As a huge fan of *The Bachelor*, I was so invested in Grant’s season! He seemed to have a lot of options when he first arrived, meeting around twenty-five women. I really thought he and Juliana Pasquarosa had a connection when he gave her the final rose, but sadly, they broke up less than three months after the show aired. It was disappointing to see it not work out.

Grant announced on Instagram on June 13th that he and Juliana have decided to break up. He explained that they both tried their best and cared deeply for each other, but after careful consideration, they realized they weren’t compatible for a future together.

Joan Vassos, who was a contestant on *The Golden Bachelor* and later became the first *Golden Bachelorette*, is engaged! After appearing on Gerry Turner’s season and then leading her own, she accepted a proposal from Chock Chapple on *The Golden Bachelorette*.

During the November 2024 finale of *The Golden Bachelorette*, Joan shared a message of hope, saying, “We’re proof that even at our age, there’s always hope.” Just before Chock proposed in Bora Bora, she told him, “I’ve waited for this moment, in this beautiful place, to tell you I love you. I want to spend my life with you – waking up with you every morning and kissing you goodnight.”

Oh my gosh, I was SO invested in Jenn Tran’s season of *The Bachelorette*! It seriously seemed like she and Devin were perfect together during the finale! I was already planning their wedding in my head! But then, during *After the Final Rose*, she revealed that Devin completely shut her down the moment they stopped filming. I was absolutely devastated for her! It was heartbreaking to hear he just
 disappeared on her after everything!

Jenn explained to Jesse Palmer that he dramatically declared his love for her, but the very next day acted as if nothing had happened and claimed he’d never been in love. She felt all the promises and affection he’d expressed had simply vanished.

The situation escalated when Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram explaining his perspective. In the video, he took responsibility for his actions and detailed the reasons behind their breakup, which he had initially discussed during a 15-minute phone call.

Jenn said he ended their relationship during a phone call in August, but he insists she pressed him for answers when he was trying to tell her in person.

He said he hadn’t seen another option, especially since he wanted to tell her face-to-face. Ultimately, she made him reveal it.

Jenn then met Sasha Farber on the set of *Dancing With the Stars*, and they became partners both on and off the dance floor. Although they were eliminated from the show in October 2024, they continued dancing together for a time before ultimately splitting up in 2025.

Greg Grippo, who appeared on Katie Thurston’s season of *The Bachelorette*, began dating Victoria Fuller from *Bachelor in Paradise* in November 2022. They announced their relationship on the season eight finale of *Bachelor in Paradise*, but Greg shared in April 2024 that they had broken up.

Before revealing their relationship on the season eight finale of *Bachelor in Paradise*, Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo had broken up with their respective costars. Victoria had previously ended her engagement with Johnny DePhillipo.

Gerry Nist and Theresa Nist got engaged in November 2023 after the first season of *The Golden Bachelor* concluded. They then married in a televised ceremony in January 2024. They are now divorced.

However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.

Gerry and Theresa have been having open and honest conversations about their relationship and living arrangements. During an appearance on *Good Morning America* in April 2024, they announced they’ve mutually decided to get a divorce.

They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

In April 2025, Gerry shared on the *Bachelor Happy Hour* podcast that he was seeing someone and things were progressing nicely.

Tennis star Joey has found his soulmate! After dating 32 women, he proposed to project manager Kelsey Anderson during the March 2024 season finale. He told Kelsey, “I can’t wait another minute to tell you that I love you,” before getting down on one knee. Joey was captivated by Kelsey’s positive energy, saying it was a feeling he’d never experienced before. He shared that meeting her showed him just how beautiful life could be, and he’s excited to build a future with her.

John Henry Spurlock, who competed for Charity Lawson’s affection on *The Bachelor*, and Kat Izzo, from Zach Shallcross’ season, found a connection on *Bachelor in Paradise*, but their romance didn’t last. John Henry proposed with a Neil Lane diamond, telling Kat she was everything he was looking for. However, shortly after the show ended, they announced their split. In a joint statement on Instagram, they explained that their differing career goals led them to realize they weren’t a good long-term match, but they were thankful for the support they received from family, friends, and fans.

Eliza Isichei, who previously dated Clayton Echard, is engaged! Despite feeling anxious about finding love again after *Paradise*, she happily said yes to a proposal from Aaron Bryant on the beach. She was especially touched that Aaron asked her mother for her blessing beforehand, admitting she was so emotional she couldn’t control what she said.

However, the couple later announced their split. While they had some difficulties after returning from filming, they shared on social media in December 2023 that they are ending their engagement amicably, with positivity and respect for each other.

Despite previously expressing disappointment that boyfriend Aven Jones hadn’t proposed in a traditional way – something he had apparently been ready to do on *The Bachelorette* with Rachel Recchia – Kylee Russell accepted his proposal to try and make their relationship work on *Paradise*. This meant she didn’t get to wear the engagement dress she’d planned, but she felt it was the right decision, explaining that “love is all about taking risks.” However, just two days after the show’s finale aired in December 2023, Kylee announced on Instagram that they had broken up because Aven had been unfaithful. Aven later apologized, admitting he’d made serious mistakes and hurt Kylee.

Charity Lawson is thrilled with how her season of *The Bachelorette* ended! She hinted to TopMob News that things were going well, but her August 2023 finale was even more exciting than she let on. Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, proposed to Charity, a child and family therapist, getting down on one knee and calling their love “perfect.” He asked her to make their “fairytale” a reality.

Although they’re planning a wedding for 2025 or 2026, Charity will first be hitting the dance floor on *Dancing With the Stars*. Dotun surprised her with the news on *The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose*, saying he knew how much she loved to dance and that he was excited for her to take on this amazing opportunity.

Zach Shallcross found love on season 27 of the show and proposed to Kaity Biggar in March 2023, despite some challenges along the way. He told Kaity, a travel nurse, that she was his world and he loved her deeply. In July 2023, the couple, who are based in Texas, announced they had taken their relationship a step further by moving in together.

Kaity and her partner got married on May 23, 2025, in a small, intimate chapel ceremony. They had originally envisioned a bigger wedding, but Kaity realized it wasn’t necessary. As she shared on the *Bachelor Happy Hour* podcast in June 2025, she wanted to focus on what truly mattered: their love and connection. She felt she was getting too caught up in the minor details and wanted to stay true to that core connection.

Okay, so the *most* amazing thing happened! Apparently, the aunt who pushed Kaity to go for Zach? She found the chapel where they actually got married! It’s somewhere around Austin, and Kaity said it was absolutely perfect – like, seriously, *perfect*. I’m telling you, it’s a sign! Everything about this is just
 *chef’s kiss*.

Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who seemed like a promising couple after meeting on *Bachelor in Paradise*, have broken up. Despite a strong connection – Danielle had previously experienced loss with her fiancé’s passing, and Michael is a single father to his son James – the couple split after about a year of Danielle moving to Ohio to be with Michael. Michael explained on a podcast that while they loved each other, they weren’t compatible enough for a long-term future, and he’s mourning the loss of what he’d hoped for.

Brandon Jones proposed to Serene Russell on season seven of *Paradise*, telling her he would love her forever. However, their relationship didn’t last. Just five months after getting engaged on the show, the couple announced their split in a May 2023 Instagram post. They explained that trying to work through their issues had been very difficult with so much public attention, and while they still cared for each other deeply, they were heartbroken and asked for privacy.

As a longtime fan, I was really heartbroken when Rachel and Tino’s relationship fell apart. It happened because Tino kissed someone else while their season was still on TV, which was just awful. He’s since admitted on a podcast called *The Viall Files* that he deeply regrets it. He said he knows it wasn’t fair to Rachel, that he’s still ashamed of it, and wishes he could go back and change things. Honestly, it’s good to hear him take responsibility, but it was still a really tough situation to watch unfold.

Susie Evans and Clayton Echard’s relationship, which began on season 26 of *The Bachelor*, had a complicated journey. After Susie initially turned Clayton down during the finale, they briefly reconnected, but ultimately broke up six months later. Susie, a videographer from Los Angeles, has explained that the split was necessary for her own well-being. In a blog post, she shared that she wasn’t thriving in the relationship and felt disconnected from her true self, despite having some happy times together.

Susie then dated Justin Glaze from Bachelor Nation, but they ended their relationship in August 2024.

As a longtime fan, I was so excited when Michelle accepted Nayte’s proposal! It felt like a perfect match, and that $200,000 for a house was amazing. Sadly, it just wasn’t meant to be. They announced their breakup about six months after the show ended in December 2021, and he later admitted on a podcast that not having that final conversation face-to-face was a mistake. I was heartbroken for both of them, but so glad to see Michelle find happiness again! She started dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they got engaged the following year. Their wedding in Minnesota in June 2025 was absolutely beautiful – I was thrilled for them and so happy to see her find her person.

Fans were really hoping to see Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian build a future together, picturing cozy Sunday mornings as a couple. However, the *Bachelor in Paradise* season seven pair only lasted a couple of months. In a joint statement released in January 2022, Maurissa (who previously dated Peter Weber) and Riley (a former suitor on Tayshia Adams’ season) announced they were breaking up. They explained that they both needed to focus on personal growth and hadn’t anticipated this outcome.

Status: Split

The first same-sex couple from *Bachelor in Paradise* got engaged on season six, but they broke up and announced their split on Halloween in 2019.

We’ve always deeply loved and cared for each other, and making the best decision for both of us has always been our priority. With a lot of love and sadness, we’ve decided to take a break and focus on ourselves. We believe this is the best path forward for our individual growth and overall well-being right now, as shared in a joint statement on Instagram.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always thrilled to see couples thrive, and Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer are a perfect example! Their journey wasn’t without its bumps – they actually broke up during season seven of *BIP* while filming in Mexico. But they quickly realized they had something truly special and decided to give their love another shot. They initially settled in San Diego, but recently made a big move to Tulsa, Noah’s hometown, where they purchased their first house together! Abigail shared the exciting news on Instagram, saying they’re entering their ‘Chip and Joanna Gaines era’ and can’t wait to create memories in their new home. And the best part? Noah proposed in San Diego just before the move! It’s so wonderful to see them building a life together, and I’m excited to follow their next chapter – which includes some wedding planning, of course!

Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, who first gained attention on *The Bachelor* and *Bachelor in Paradise*, secretly tied the knot in October 2022. The couple, engaged after leaving *Paradise*, decided to have a small ceremony at City Hall in New York City about a year before their planned larger wedding in September 2023. Serena, now co-host of the *Bachelor Happy Hour* podcast, shared the news with a playful message: ‘We are still having a wedding this September but who doesn’t want to get married twice!’ Joe Amabile originally appeared on Becca Kufrin’s season of *The Bachelor* before becoming a fan favorite on *Bachelor in Paradise*.

Kenny Braasch proposed to Mari Pepin with a Neil Lane diamond ring during the 2021 finale of *Paradise*, telling her, “I am so in love with you and can’t imagine my life without you.” Mari, originally from Maryland and a contestant on *The Bachelor*, moved to Chicago to be with Kenny, who had been eliminated during Tayshia Adams’ season. Before their November 2023 wedding—a 65-person oceanfront ceremony in Puerto Rico—the couple cemented their bond with matching tattoos during a May 2023 trip to the Bahamas.

Status: Married

Becca Kufrin, who starred on *The Bachelorette*, and Thomas Jacobs, a contestant from Katie Thurston’s season, found love on season seven of *Bachelor in Paradise* in 2021. They briefly broke up during filming but got back together after the show ended.

In May 2022, they announced their engagement, revealing that Becca had proposed. She told TopMob News that she hoped their unconventional approach would empower others to break tradition. Thomas returned the gesture by proposing to her in October of the same year. In September 2023, they welcomed their first child, a son named Benson. Becca shared on Instagram that no words could express how much love they felt for him.

Just weeks after Benson’s birth, the couple had a surprise wedding ceremony on October 13th.

Status: Split

In the 2021 finale of *The Bachelorette*, Katie got engaged to Blake Moynes. They first revealed their feelings for each other during a memorable overnight date that included paintball, a relaxing soak in a cowboy tub, and a heartfelt conversation under the stars.

Blake proposed to Katie, getting down on one knee and telling her he wanted to support her dreams and be with her always.

Just three months after getting engaged, the couple announced they were breaking up. In a joint statement, they said they cherished the time they spent together this past year, but realized they weren’t a good long-term match and that going their separate ways was the kindest option. She has since married comedian Jeff Arcuri.
