Atari and Graphite Lab have released RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic on PlayStation 5, letting players enjoy the original theme park building and management game on Sony’s newest console.
This version of the classic game combines RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and 2. It originally came out on mobile devices in 2016, and was later updated for PC and Switch. Now, after a decade, it’s finally playable on PS5.
As we’ve discussed, Classic RollerCoaster Tycoon brings together everything players loved from the original two games, plus all the extra content from the Toolkit, Wacky Worlds, and Time Twister expansions.
The goal is to create a successful amusement park! You’ll build and expand it with exciting rides and attractions, hire staff to keep everything running smoothly, and ensure it’s clean and safe for visitors. If you do well, your park will become popular and profitable.
It’s a seminal management sim, of course inspiring many other titles, such as Planet Coaster.
It’s available for $24.99 or £19.99. Are you planning to play RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic on PS5? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
