Bluey is now a huge hit for Disney. Last year, the popular animated series actually outperformed even the final season of Stranger Things on streaming platforms – something many didn’t think possible! It’s no surprise that a Bluey movie is planned for release next year. Although we haven’t seen any trailers yet, some early promotional material has surfaced, signaling the start of the movie’s marketing campaign.
The new Bluey movie is scheduled to hit theaters on August 6, 2027, and while we don’t yet know the plot, a recent logo reveal offers a clue about the film’s title. Originally announced as Bluey The Movie, Disney now seems to be leaning towards simply The Bluey Movie. The change, indicated by the logo’s simpler design, has fans buzzing with anticipation and speculation about what adventures Bluey and her family will have in the movie.
Bluey’s Influence Grows

As of today, a release date for Bluey season four hasn’t been announced, but Ludo Studio has confirmed it’s still being made. The season three finale was very emotional for many viewers, as it seemed like Bluey and her family might be moving. Luckily, Bluey’s dad decided to stay, and the family remained in their home. One episode even showed a grown-up Bluey with a family of her own, which suggests season four could take the show in exciting new directions.
Last month, the creator of the popular children’s show Bluey, Joe Brumm, revealed he’s developing a new animated series for adults called Deano with Hulu. So far, Hulu has only shared a single image and a brief description of what the show will be about.
I’ve been watching Deano, and he’s something else – a really spirited, mischievous kid with a surprisingly kind heart hidden beneath a tough shell. He’s incredibly endearing and full of energy, but he’s growing up in a really rough part of town, in a house that honestly needs to be torn down. He doesn’t seem to realize how difficult things are for him, and he treats everyone the same, whether it’s the kids who’ve dropped out of school or even the police chief. The story really centers around his friendship with Kit, a much quieter boy who comes from a wealthy family. Kit doesn’t fully understand what Deano’s life is like, but he’s drawn to Deano’s energy and the way he just isn’t afraid of anything. Together, they’re thrown into a world that’s pretty raw and seems to be losing its compassion every day.
