Erin Moriarty, known for her role in ‘The Boys,’ has called the season 5 finale her favorite episode of the entire season, expressing high praise for it.
The final episode of the show’s last season will be available on Prime Video on May 20th. The season began streaming earlier this month.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, actress Erin Moriarty, who plays Starlight (Annie January) on the show, described the upcoming finale as deeply emotional. She said while reading the script, it stood out as her favorite episode of the season, and although sad, it wasn’t needlessly pessimistic.
She added that she believes the audience will absolutely love the finale. While she rarely makes such strong predictions, she feels confident enough to say this time that it will be truly satisfying.
Many shows these days finish with extended, extra-long final episodes, like Stranger Things and Peaky Blinders. However, the finale of The Boys will be a standard length.
When Collider asked if the season finale would be longer than usual, ‘The Boys’ showrunner Eric Kripke said it would be around an hour and five minutes long.
We’re aiming for episodes that are about an hour to an hour and a half long, maybe a little more. And yeah, they’re really full of content.
