The hand-drawn platformer The Eternal Life of Goldman will be available on Xbox Game Pass as soon as it releases in late 2026. Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Weappy also announced it’s coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store). A demo for the Xbox Series version is available to play right now.
Here are the latest details, via THQ Nordic:
Meet Goldman, the unlikely hero of the upcoming 2D platformer, The Eternal Life of Goldman! He’s on a mission to save a chain of islands, and he’s probably not who anyone expected. Though he might seem like an odd choice for a hero, Goldman actually has everything it takes to succeed.
Don’t let Goldman’s cane fool you – it’s a surprisingly powerful weapon! The latest trailer showcases everything this seemingly simple cane allows him to do. He can jump to incredible heights, even onto enemies, and use it to swing, pull objects, create bright flashes, or defend himself with a sturdy shield. This cane turns any old man into a force to be reckoned with!
The new trailer, revealed at today’s Xbox Partner Preview Showcase, announced exciting news for gamers: The Eternal Life of Goldman will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting on day one!
Xbox fans have even more to look forward to! Not only was Game Pass recently announced, but you can also play the demo for The Eternal Life of Goldman on Xbox Series X|S starting today.
