A new downloadable content pack is planned for Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, scheduled for release in 2026. It will feature villains from beloved classic games published by SEGA.
I’m so hyped for the SEGA Villains stage! They’re adding three new bad guys to fight, and we already know about two of them. Can’t wait to see who the third one is!
Now, we know the third and final villain going up against Joe Musashi:
Yes, the last guest character is Goro Majima from the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series.
This downloadable content adds Dr. Eggman (from Sonic the Hedgehog) and Death Adder (from Golden Axe) as playable characters, joining the existing lineup of villains. It’s a great mix of baddies, and each one promises a distinct and challenging battle.
The new downloadable content is scheduled for release in early 2026, meaning we’ll have to wait a while to finally confront these villains. Hopefully, it will be worth the anticipation!
