Marvel’s Wolverine may be days away from its big PS5 re-reveal.
That’s if speculation shared by the largely accurate Tom Henderson is accurate.
Recently, he announced that Sony is likely planning a State of Play event in September, and it’s nearly certain that Insomniac’s much-anticipated action game will feature in this event.
In a recent episode of the Insider Gaming podcast, he’s contributed to building excitement by sharing additional information.

He said:
Based on conversations with some testers, it seems they find the game visually appealing. This is certainly encouraging news.
Besides elaborating on the fact that the notorious Insomniac hack, where sensitive employee information was leaked and the game was uploaded onto the internet, caused a setback in the project, Henderson hinted that it is almost prepared to make its grand debut.
It’s been four years since we last got an official update about Marvel’s Wolverine, as it was first announced back in September 2017.
During that period, there have been shifts in leadership, with Marcus Smith and Mike Daily, both well-known Insomniac Game Studio veterans who led Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, taking charge of the project as of October 2024.
As a fellow gaming enthusiast, I’m practically bursting with excitement to catch a glimpse of how this project has evolved over the last four years! Here’s hoping that this re-reveal is the real deal!
