The first episodes of the new Sky thriller, The Iris Affair, created by the writer of Luther, Neil Cross, are now available to watch on Sky and NOW.
I’m so excited about this new series! It follows Niamh Algar and Tom Hollander as they race all over Italy trying to find these activation codes. Apparently, they’re the key to turning on some seriously powerful – and maybe even scary – machine, and everyone’s after them.
If you’ve watched the first four episodes, you know they left you on the edge of your seat! You’re probably wondering when the rest of the episodes will be released and how many there are in total.

What is The Iris Affair about?

I just got a peek at the premise of “The Iris Affair,” and it’s a real head-scratcher in the best way. It centers around Iris Nixon, played by Algar, a seriously brilliant woman who starts solving these incredibly difficult online puzzles. It leads her all the way to Florence, Italy, where she bumps into Cameron Beck, a charming businessman portrayed by Hollander. He’s clearly impressed with her skills and offers her a job – a mysterious one, involving some highly secretive and potentially game-changing technology. Sounds like a thrilling setup, doesn’t it?
Intrigued, she agreed to help. However, when Iris realized how dangerous the device could be, she took the journal with the instructions for turning it on and disappeared. This sets off a frantic chase, leading Cameron from a secluded cabin in Sardinia to the busy streets of Rome, as he tries to find her. It’s a risky game where no one can be trusted, and the consequences of failure are enormous.
