Two more have joined the cast of The Last of Us Season 3.
I was completely hooked when The Last of Us first came to HBO in January 2023! It’s based on the incredible video game, and the first season really drew me in with Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. The story follows their journey across a broken United States after something terrible happened. I was thrilled when the second season arrived in 2025, and I couldn’t wait to see what happened next!
A third season is being developed, but Neil Druckmann, a writer and director on the original games, will no longer be a showrunner on the series. Craig Mazin will now lead the show by himself.
The cast for The Last of Us Season 3 features Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Isabela Merced as Dina, and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac Dixon. Other actors joining the season include Clea DuVall, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Ritter, and Patrick Wilson.
Who has joined the cast of The Last of Us Season 3?
According to Deadline, Michelle Mao and Kyriana Kratter are the newest additions to the cast of The Last of Us Season 3.
According to reports, Abby Anderson’s (Kaitlyn Dever) story will be central to the third and possibly final season of The Last of Us. A key part of this will involve the characters Yara and Lev. In the original game, Lev – a 13-year-old transgender boy played by Kratter – acts as Abby’s companion and helps guide her morally, and this relationship is expected to be featured in the show as well.
Ruby Mao is recognized for her role as Rosamund Li in the series Bridgerton, and she’s also appearing in the new film Zi, which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January. Meanwhile, Millie Kratter played KB in the Disney+ show Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, which premiered in 2024.
An HBO Max premiere date for The Last of Us Season 3 has not yet been announced.
