Shigeru Miyamoto announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the release date for The Legend of Zelda movie has been moved up to April 30, 2027, a week earlier than the previously announced May 7th. You can find his complete announcement below.
Hi, this is Miyamoto. I’m happy to announce that the live-action Legend of Zelda movie will now be released on April 30, 2027 – a bit earlier than the previously announced date of May 7th. Everyone on the team is working hard to get the movie to you as quickly as possible, and with less than a year to go, we appreciate your patience!
