The Madame Blanc Mysteries future officially confirmed as series issues major filming update

A fifth season of The Madame Blanc Mysteries is coming soon, and they’ve already started filming new episodes!

Sally Lindsay stars in the popular mystery series, playing Jean White, an antiques dealer who also investigates crimes. Unfortunately, her appearances at gatherings tend to foreshadow trouble for those around her.

Each episode features Jean investigating a new, puzzling death. She gets help from her fiancé Dom (Steve Edge), her friend Gloria (Sue Vincent), and the amusing pair Jeremy and Judith Lloyd James (played by Robin Askwith and Sue Holderness).

Season 5 of The Madame Blanc Mysteries will bring back all your favorite characters, along with returning cast members Alex Gaumond as Chief of Police André Caron, Tony Robinson as Uncle Patrick, Paul Elliott (known as ‘Chuckle’) as Trevor, and Stephen Bailey as the gangster John Marsden.

Jean and Dom are getting married, but according to a preview from 5, their road to the altar won’t be easy – unexpected challenges will arise.

Expect several dramatic events in the new episodes, including a shocking discovery of a body in a familiar setting, a difficult and emotional challenge for Judith and Jeremy, a possible poisoning at the theater, and John Marsden unleashing his full fury.

Will Jean and Dom actually make it down the aisle with all the trouble surrounding them? We’ll find out soon! The next seven episodes of the popular show are currently being filmed on the beautiful islands of Malta and Gozo.

As a long-time fan, I’m thrilled to hear that Dermot Boyd, the director who’s been with the show since the beginning, is back to direct the new season. It sounds like we can expect Season 5 to premiere sometime in May this year, which I’m really excited about!
