The Madison future confirmed ahead of Taylor Sheridan drama’s season 2 premiere

I’m so excited – Taylor Sheridan‘s new show, The Madison, has already been picked up for a third season! It’s incredible to think they’re renewing it before we’ve even finished watching the second season. It really shows how much faith they have in the series, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Since its release in March, the series starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell has become a huge hit for Paramount+, breaking streaming records.

The team has announced they’re heading back to Montana to continue the story with a third installment.

Good news for fans – season 2 is finished filming! We’ll find out when it’s coming out soon.

Created by Taylor Sheridan (the mind behind Yellowstone), The Madison tells the story of a family navigating through sorrow and loss. It’s a separate story from the Yellowstone world.

The series centers on the Clyburn family, originally from New York, and their lives led by Stacy and Preston Clyburn, played by Pfeiffer and Russell. The first episode begins with a tragic plane crash in Montana that claims the lives of two cherished family members.

Still reeling from the news, the Clyburn family traveled to the Madison River valley to make arrangements for the funeral at the ranch where their family member had been staying.

After their loss, they quickly realized city life wasn’t helping, and began to seek comfort in the quiet simplicity of the countryside.

The show alternates between the contrasting settings of bustling New York City and peaceful Montana, and explores how each location impacts the Clyburn family.

Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, and Will Arnett join the cast alongside Pfeiffer and Russell.

The show’s first episode quickly became a hit, attracting eight million viewers in its first ten days – making it Taylor Sheridan’s most popular series premiere to date, surpassing even Yellowstone.
