An all new The Mandalorian and Grogu trailer drops…..
The new trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu is here, and it looks fantastic! We’re excited to see the movie, which is the first Star Wars film to come to theaters since The Rise of Skywalker seven years ago. It’s also the first movie directly connected to the Star Wars shows on Disney+.
The story behind The Mandalorian and Grogu trailer ….
With the evil Empire defeated, its former commanders are still causing trouble across the galaxy. The newly formed New Republic is trying to safeguard the freedom won by the Rebellion, and they’ve asked for help from Din Djarin, a famous Mandalorian bounty hunter, and his young companion, Grogu.
Jon Favreau directed “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu,” which features Sigourney Weaver and a score by Ludwig Göransson. The film was produced by Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce.
A few fascinating facts behind the scenes…..
There’s talk that this project began as Season 4 of The Mandalorian, but Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni changed plans and turned it into a movie while actors were on strike. At Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025, Jon Favreau shared that Sigourney Weaver plays a character named Colonel Ward, who was a rebel fighter. Pedro Pascal also let slip that Grogu knows how to swim, and we see a bit of that in the trailer.
This all-new Star Wars adventure opens exclusively in cinemas 22nd May 2026
