Fans eagerly anticipating a return to the U.S. version of “The Office” since 2013 will be pleased to know that the release date for the spin-off show titled “The Paper” has officially been set.
In the United Kingdom, starting from September 5th, the latest mockumentary created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman will hit screens first on Sky and NOW, following its premiere in the U.S. by a single day.
Four episodes are set to premiere simultaneously, followed by two fresh episodes being unveiled every week, leading up to the release of the remaining episodes on 26th September.
Katie Keenan, the head of acquisitions for Sky, announced in a statement: “We’re thrilled to keep our mission of providing top-notch US content to Sky and NOW moving forward, as we’ve just acquired The Paper from our partners at NBCU and Peacock. This acquisition is another exciting step!
In September, fans of The Office will be treated to a new perspective, as the original documentary team shifts their focus to the realm of publishing.

In the upcoming season, the documentary team from The Office who previously focused on Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch will shift their attention to a fresh topic, chronicling a publishing company’s efforts to resurrect an old-fashioned Midwestern newspaper.
In the upcoming film, Domhnall Gleeson is set to play the role of Ned. Joining him will be Sabrina Impacciatore from The White Lotus, as well as Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, and Alex Edelman.
In addition, Ramona Young from The Ballad of Wallis Island and Tim Key, also known for that series, are among the cast members. Meanwhile, Oscar Nuñez, who played Oscar Martinez in The Office, will be returning to his role.
This year, Gleeson shared that John Krasinski, his co-star from the Guy Ritchie movie “Fountain of Youth,” offered him some valuable advice, which he passed along to People magazine earlier.
In simpler terms, he advised me to go ahead with it, as did Steve Carell, a fantastic actor I had previously collaborated with.
The suggestion was that if it’s by Greg Daniels, then it’s worth doing. Few are fortunate enough to collaborate with him.
