HBO’s The Pitt quickly became a hit after just one season, sparking conversations worldwide. The critically acclaimed medical drama has already won an Emmy, and Season 2 is now available for streaming on HBO Max. While the new season started strong with dramatic and intense scenes, I’m finding it a little difficult to fully connect with it – and I suspect other fans might be feeling the same way.
Everyone’s trying to find out how to watch Season 2 of The Pitt, and I’m already excited for each new episode that comes out on Thursdays. Critics are really liking the new season, but I’m a little frustrated that it’s released one episode at a time. I wish I could watch them all at once! Now I’ll have to deal with those suspenseful cliffhangers and wait a whole week for the next episode.
Not Being Able To Binge-Watch The Pitt Season 2 Is So Challenging
I generally prefer when TV shows release episodes weekly, because it creates a shared experience and gives people something to discuss. However, I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to wait for each new episode of The Pitt to come out.
I didn’t watch Noah Wyle’s medical drama, Season 1, as it originally aired. I preferred to watch multiple episodes back-to-back, which was really enjoyable given the show’s intense storylines and suspenseful endings.

You can stream The Pitt exclusively on HBO Max, with plans starting at $10.99 per month. A subscription gives you access to a vast library of movies, shows, documentaries, and more. See the deal here.
I was excited to start watching the first episodes of The Pitt, which premiered at the same time as Season 4 of The Traitors. However, my fiancé and I were frustrated when we couldn’t immediately continue with Season 2 and follow Dr. Robby’s eventful Fourth of July shift in the ER. My partner is thinking of waiting until the whole season is available so he can binge-watch it. Unfortunately, since I work in the TV industry, I can’t risk having any spoilers and will have to watch each episode as it comes out.

It’s clear how good HBO’s The Pitt is – the fact that it’s hard to watch only one episode at a time proves it! However, switching from watching all episodes back-to-back to waiting each week is a completely different experience. Now, I’ll have to deal with the anticipation between episodes, which is already challenging even though we’re only at the beginning of Season 2.
