Noah Wyleis scrubbing into the winner’s circle.
Oh my gosh, can you believe it? After *years* of being nominated for his amazing work as John Carter on *ER* – seriously, he was incredible alongside George Clooney! – he *finally* won a Lead Actor Emmy! It was for playing Dr. Michael Robinavitch on *The Pitt*, and I was absolutely screaming when they announced his name. It was so deserved! I’ve followed his career for decades, and this is just…everything! You can see all the winners, but honestly, his win is the only one that really matters to me.
“This has been incredible,” Noah shared while accepting an award on September 14th. He expressed his gratitude to HBO Max and Warner Brothers Television for the opportunities they provided, calling them the reason for a second major success in his career. He specifically thanked John Wells, describing him as the catalyst for that success.
The actor from *Donnie Darko* won the award and also gave a shout-out to the show’s creator, R. Scott Gemmill, calling him his creative partner and saying they’ll continue working together for the long haul. He beat out Sterling K. Brown, Gary Oldman, Pedro Pascal, and Adam Scott to receive the honor.
Noah continued, thanking the talented performers who appear on stage each morning. He said their dedication and skill motivate him to do his best. He also expressed his love and gratitude to his children, parents, step-parents, and his wife, Sarah, acknowledging her equal contribution – not just because of California’s laws, but because she truly deserves it.
He expressed his excitement that the nominations recognized contributions from every department, highlighting the team’s collaborative work. He also congratulated the other nominees, saying he felt honored and thankful.
Besides being nominated for his acting, Wyle also received a nomination as a producer for Outstanding Drama Series. His show competed against *Andor*, *The Diplomat*, *The Last of Us*, *Paradise*, *Severance*, *Slow Horses*, and *The White Lotus*.
