‘The Reach Around’: Pedro Pascal And His Fantastic Four Co-Stars Got A Look At His Popcorn Bucket, And They Had Some Dirty Thoughts

Since the popular NSFW “Dune: 2” popcorn bucket became a viral sensation last year, there has been a surge of special containers for movie theater snacks. The upcoming movie “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”, set to release in 2025, is joining the trend, and it’s not just about the expensive $80 Galactus bucket. Even Pedro Pascal’s Mister Fantastic has his own popcorn bucket, and when the cast of “The Mandalorian” and the new Marvel movie saw it, they couldn’t help but have some mischievous thoughts.

During an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Alan Cumming, who is set to star alongside Pascal, Kirby, Moss-Bachrach, and Quinn in next year’s Avengers: Doomsday, showcased the remarkable Mister Fantastic popcorn bucket to them. Intriguingly, when placed in a specific orientation, this popcorn container takes on an unexpected, adult-themed appearance.

Upon initial observation, the popcorn bucket appears to be ordinary. It’s merely Mister Fantastic demonstrating his elasticity by holding what seems like an oversized bucket from his point of view. However, upon rotation, Alan Cumming revealed a rather suggestive image, making it seem as if Reed Richards had encircled the bucket with his extendable appendage. As Pedro Pascal chuckled at the sight for the first time, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, playing Ben Grimm/The Thing, added a witty remark to the conversation.

Alan Cumming passed the popcorn bucket to Vanessa Kirby, who plays Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, and Pedro Pascal found it amusing that his character’s miniature version served as the handle for the bucket. Kirby shared some of the popcorn with Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/The Human Torch), but she held onto the popcorn bucket herself, a move Cumming jokingly approved because she is pregnant.

To obtain a Mister Fantastic popcorn bucket of your own, it’s priced at $39.99 in your local Cinemark cinema. Alternatively, at Regal Cinemas, you can purchase the Fantasticar popcorn bucket for $56.95. Both theater chains offer the Galactus popcorn bucket too, along with AMC.

Right now, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is running in cinemas, featuring the original cast along with Ralph Ineson, Julia Garner, Paul Walter Hauser, and others. While children can enjoy popcorn from the Mister Fantastic bucket while watching Marvel’s First Family back on the big screen, it might be best to avoid using the term ‘reach around,’ a reference to Ebon Moss-Bachrach, when in their presence.
