This intriguing behind-the-scenes look at Season 3 offers us a glimpse into the making of our beloved series.
In this clip, we see none other than Lloyd Owen, who portrays Elendil in the show, brandishing Narsil, the sword of the Faithful. The sneak peek concludes with the grand title of our cherished series gracing the screen, leaving us eagerly awaiting more!

After the conclusion of Season 2, The Rings of Power’s showrunner, Patrick McKay, expressed his pride in the season to The Hollywood Reporter. He praised the performances of the talented cast and the efforts of their many collaborators. McKay explained that each episode was designed to stand alone as a separate experience, meaning not every character would appear in every week’s installment. Regarding Season 3, McKay hinted at further progress by stating it would be “onward and upward.
Based on comments made by co-showrunner JD Payne in an interview with Empire in 2022, it’s anticipated that The Rings of Power will continue for five seasons. Payne described the series as a comprehensive tale with a defined start, progression, and conclusion. He also mentioned that certain elements introduced in the first season won’t be fully resolved until the fifth season.
