Although it’s labeled as 1.011.054 on my PlayStation 5, don’t let that strange number fool you – it’s still the same fresh content! This one weighs in at a hefty but reasonable 12.4GB. So, grab your controllers and get ready to enjoy the latest enhancements!
To briefly summarize, this update is getting the game ready for the Claws of Awaji expansion coming out next week. It also includes several delightful changes and improvements to the gameplay.

The action-adventure game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, will receive an additional substantial upgrade to set the stage for its upcoming expansion named Claws of Awaji.
The update version 1.1.1 is set to release tomorrow, specifically on September 11th, as I write this. Meanwhile, the previously mentioned expansion is scheduled for next week’s launch, which falls on September 16th.
The new update brings several delightful enhancements such as raising the level limit to a maximum of 100, the feature to fast-forward time through meditation, and the chance to improve your gear to superior quality levels.
Additionally, a fresh story quest is set to launch on the 16th, concurrently with Claws of Awaji. Luckily, you won’t require the DLC to enjoy this quest, and completing it will grant you a Bo staff for Naoe. Interestingly, the new weapon type that was originally exclusive to the expansion will now be accessible to all players starting next week, allowing everyone a chance to give it a whirl.

- New project Sanctuary added, which features Ezio-related rewards
