We’re big fans of director Edgar Wright, like many others. His ‘Cornetto trilogy’ – the films he made with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost – are incredibly enjoyable, and his latest project is a remake of a classic Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, as seen in the trailer for ‘The Running Man‘.
Inspired by the Stephen King novel, the show follows a man who participates in a game where players can travel anywhere globally, but are then hunted by assassins.
Glen Powell, a rising star, plays the lead in this film, and he’s joined by a fantastic cast including Josh Brolin, Michael Cera, William H. Macy, and Sandra Dickinson, who many will be happy to see back on screen. Director Edgar Wright has been eager to make this movie for a long time.
The Running Man is set for release on 14th November 2025
