The trailer for the movie “The Thursday Murder Club,” which is based on Richard Osman’s popular book of the same name, features four lively retirees – Elizabeth (played by Helen Mirren), Ron (Pierce Brosnan), Ibrahim (Ben Kingsley), and Joyce (Celia Imrie) – who enjoy solving cold murder cases as a pastime. However, when an unusual death occurs near their community, their leisurely detective work takes a surprising turn as they find themselves investigating a genuine mystery that has them at the heart of it.
Under the direction of Chris Columbus, this upcoming film is the newest addition to the Netflix-Amblin Entertainment collaboration. It boasts an impressive ensemble of actors such as Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Tom Ellis, Jonathan Pryce, David Tennant, Paul Freeman, Geoff Bell, Richard E. Grant, and Ingrid Oliver.
