The Traitors finalists reveals what shocked her most about 2026 series – and what her strategy was all along

The Traitors was a fantastic season, and Jade Scott experienced the most dramatic ups and downs of anyone on the show.

Throughout most of the exciting fourth season, Jade received attention from other players, even though she was a loyal contestant the entire time. This was in contrast to Rachel and Stephen, who were ultimately revealed to be the Traitors.

“My strategy was always to go in and get some suspicion on me because I think that keeps you in the game,” the student explained.

Being overly loyal can be dangerous, even deadly, and you have no control over your fate if you’re killed off. However, before being exiled, you might have a chance to plead your case and try to change people’s minds.

“But I think with the way the game played out, there was too much suspicion!”

You know, Jade was telling me about how frustrating it was when everyone was onto her. She really loved doing the missions – she said they were a blast and she didn’t want to stop! She was so focused on trying to figure out how to turn the suspicion around to her advantage, she admitted she completely lost sight of actually finding the Traitors. It’s like she got so wrapped up in her own game, she forgot the point of the whole thing!

Jade said she was really surprised by the reveal of the Secret Traitor after having a chance to review the footage.

Watching the first episode back was tough – I was yelling at myself on TV! I started out really shy and it took time to become comfortable and open up. I grew a lot during the experience, and it was great to see that progress.

It was really enjoyable to observe the various conversations and participate in the missions. It’s just a lot of fun!

Jade was pleased with how her game turned out and said she wouldn’t alter anything, even if she could play again – she’d choose to be a Faithful every time.

I really enjoy solving puzzles – it’s my biggest passion, and that’s what drives me as a Faithful. It’s challenging because you’re working with a diverse group of people, all with unique qualities. Overall, I feel good about the choices I’ve made.
