The hip hop world has seen a lot of drama recently, including the legal troubles of Diddy and the highly publicized feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. People have been quick to share their opinions, often criticizing Drake and Diddy. Now, Donald Glover is joining the conversation with some playful jabs, expressed through unique merchandise.
Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, performed at Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles this past Saturday, November 22nd. The festival was hosted by rapper Tyler, the Creator. Instead of addressing the controversy surrounding Diddy and others through his music, Glover took a different approach. He sold “cancel cards” at his GILGA Stand during the event. You can see pictures of the cards in a post on Complex’s X account.
The cards each show a different instance of someone facing cancellation. One card features a drawing of Sean Combs with bottles of baby oil in the background, referencing the reports about his parties. Another card depicts Drake grooming a dog, which is likely a reference to the allegations he’s been facing.

A former reality TV star is advising Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on how to protect himself in prison, warning him that he’ll be surrounded by dangerous individuals.
Honestly, Donald Glover’s playful jabs are just on another level – it’s so unexpected and creative, it almost feels like a sketch! It seriously reminded me of something that would happen on his show, Atlanta, which I loved – the finale was back in 2022, but you can still binge all four seasons on Hulu. And it doesn’t stop there! He throws in these wild references, like R. Kelly and even Target, which some people in the Black community are boycotting because of changes to their diversity programs. It’s just… a lot, in the best way.
The legal issues surrounding Diddy continue to be widely discussed. In September 2024, he was arrested and his homes were searched as part of a federal investigation, which uncovered items like baby oil. Following a trial from May to July 2025, Diddy was convicted of transporting individuals for the purpose of prostitution. He was sentenced to four years in prison in October and is currently serving his sentence at FCI Fort Dix.
In 2024, Drake and Kendrick Lamar were embroiled in a highly publicized and intensely personal feud, exchanging diss tracks back and forth. Most observers considered Lamar the winner, particularly after his song “Not Like Us” went viral, containing serious accusations against Drake. This perception was further solidified when Lamar was chosen to perform at the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show, where he performed the Grammy-winning track.
Donald Glover recently made a pointed comment about ‘cancel culture,’ showing he’s still very aware of what’s happening in pop culture. During the same event, he shared that he ended his recent tour in 2024 because of a stroke and a heart condition. Now, everyone is wondering if Drake will publicly respond to Glover’s comment.
