We were very happy to hear that The Wolf Among Us 2 is still happening and is now scheduled to release in 2027 – it’s a game we’ve been eagerly waiting for, especially considering the challenges it faced over the last few years.
We have even more exciting news! Early looks at the game have been overwhelmingly positive. IGN points out that it’s now built with Unreal Engine 5, but still features the beloved comic book art style. The game will be released in episodes, but this time, the full story will be available from the start, and should take players between 8 and 12 hours to complete.
Bigby has returned to investigate a series of murders, and he’s joined by Faye, a detective who doesn’t realize magic exists – at least, not yet. This installment offers more opportunities for exploration, with smoother cutscenes and animations compared to the original game.
Development is progressing nicely, and we’re excited to share more updates soon. The Wolf Among Us 2 will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
