Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista make a powerful duo for an action movie – both actors are well-known for their roles in major franchises. (It’s still unclear when the final installment of Fast X will be released, though.) The Wrecking Crew marks their first time working together, a collaboration they’ve both wanted for a while, and the trailer suggests it’s going to be a very explosive film.
This funny action movie follows two long-lost half-brothers, Jonny (Jason Momoa) and James (Dave Bautista), who must work together when their father dies under strange circumstances. While investigating the truth behind his death, they uncover family secrets and face challenges that threaten to break them apart. They’re determined to overcome any obstacle in their path.
Filmed in Hawaii, this movie is directed by Angel Manuel Soto, known for ‘Blue Beetle.’ The cast includes Claes Bang, Jacob Batalon, Stephen Root, Morena Baccarin, and David Hekili Kenui Bell, who sadly passed away on June 12, 2025.
