McFarlane Toys has brought back their line of action figures based on Batman stories, introducing three new characters this week: Azrael, who took up the role of Batman in the comic storyline “Knightquest” from 1993; Bruce Wayne reclaiming the mantle of Batman from the comic storyline “Batman: Troika”; and Batwing, also known as Luke Fox, a character featured in the New 52 era of DC comics.
Although some may argue about the authenticity of the Troika figure’s costume, overall these DC Multiverse figures look fantastic. The Batman Troika and Batwing figures are likely to be highly sought after. By the way, these figures will become available on July 10th at 9am PT / 12pm ET. You can pre-order your copies from Entertainment Earth at that time. Links to additional retailers will be added later, post-launch. Also, don’t forget to check out Wave 5 of the McFarlane Toys DC Direct Digital lineup, which is being released this week as well.

- DC Multiverse Batman Batwing V.2.0 The New 52 7-Inch Scale Action Figure
- DC Multiverse Batman Azrael Batman Knightquest 7-Inch Scale Action Figure
Just last month, I was thrilled when McFarlane Toys unveiled a unique collectible portraying the enigmatic Azrael, often referred to as the “Angel of Death.” The DC Direct Azrael Batman Resin Statue is a masterpiece in minimalistic design, with intricate details that leap out even in its monochrome finish. The statue showcases his flamethrower arm on one side and his menacing blade on the other. Inspired by Joe Quesada’s comic book artistry, this stunning piece is now up for pre-order at Entertainment Earth, retailing for $179.99. Although it won’t be delivered until January, rest assured that you won’t be charged a penny until it sets foot on your doorstep.
