Three of Pixar’s Best Films Are Now Streaming on the Same Platform

Pixar is widely considered one of the best animation studios in the world. Despite growing competition, they consistently deliver exceptional films. Since 1979, Pixar has continually raised the bar for animation, creating critically acclaimed and emotionally powerful movies like Toy Story in the 1990s and Coco in the 2010s. Now, fans can enjoy three of their all-time favorites on a single streaming platform, as they were added in March.

As a huge Pixar fan, I was thrilled to see that Toy Story is now streaming on Hulu! It’s amazing to revisit the movie that started it all – the one that showed us what toys get up to when we’re not around. And that’s not all! Hulu also added Finding Nemo, which is such a heartwarming adventure about a dad’s incredible journey, and Ratatouille, the adorable story of a rat who dreams of becoming a chef. It’s a great time to be a Pixar lover!

Toy Story Launched Pixar’s Golden Age, and Finding Nemo and Ratatouille Solidified It

Pixar is known for its incredible animation, but the studio’s golden age – a 15-year stretch from 1995 to 2010 filled with hit after hit – is truly special, and it all started with Toy Story. This groundbreaking film was the first full-length movie created entirely with computer animation. Even today, the detailed lighting and textures make characters like Woody and Buzz feel remarkably real. Toy Story also set the standard for Pixar’s storytelling approach, focusing on heartfelt, character-driven stories with meaningful themes and excellent writing, rather than just flashy visuals. With memorable voice performances from stars like Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, and a perfect mix of funny moments, exciting adventures, and genuine emotion, Toy Story continues to be considered one of the greatest animated films ever made.

Pixar truly hit its stride with Toy Story, launching a remarkably successful period where they made eleven films, with only Cars 2 receiving negative reviews. Films like Finding Nemo and Ratatouille cemented this golden era. Finding Nemo became the highest-earning animated film of the 2000s and earned Pixar its first Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Ratatouille perfectly captured Pixar’s willingness to take risks, turning a quirky idea into a critically acclaimed and beloved film. All three movies are considered some of the best animated films ever made and are perfect for families.

Other Family-Friendly Movies Now on Hulu

Hulu is offering plenty of family fun this March! They’ve added several popular titles, including three Pixar movies, Firehouse Dog, Frozen, and both Garfield films, all available starting March 1st. Throughout the month, look for even more options like the new Garfield movie (2024) on March 21st, Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank on March 29th, and two Blippi adventures on March 31st.
